"Famous" Wine Maker Dinner

Tuesday, May 19th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Held at our favorite restaurant, located right here in beautiful downtown Lombard, Praga. We will be featuring the wines from our private California label - Arti Reserve. These wines have been received so well we added two more wines to our line and decided to feature them with a five course meal at Praga. Our "Famous" guest speaker and winemaker, Dominick Churichillo, will pass on his vast knowledge of these exclusive wines, plus come and meet Mr. John Cressman. He is another of our "Famous" friends and will entertain you like you've never been before at a wine dinner. If you have not met John yet, he does a lot of our grand tasting events - I can almost guarantee a night not soon to forget!! Cost for this event will be $100.00 or $80.00 with your Famous V.I.P. card tax and gratuity included per person. Sign up at Famous only call 630-629-3330. First - Trio of Seared Diver Scallops served atop Fresh Roasted Sweet Corn and Pepper Relish with Cilantro-Pistachio Pesto

Next - Sesame Crusted Sashimi Tuna Seared and served atop Exotic Greens with Lavender Syrup and Confit of Raspberries

Now - Maple Leaf Duck Breast Chinese 5 Spice Marinated and Roasted, served with Shiitake & Soba Noodle Stir Fry, Soy Glazed Spring Onions and Carrot-Ginger Gastrique

Then - Petite Filet Mignon grilled, served with Fresh Braised Artichoke and Sun Dried Tomato Ragout, Herbed Fingerling Potato and Sauce Marchand de Vin

Join with our "Famous" Chef, Dominick Kwentus. We've all had a roaring good time eating good food, sipping on wine and enjoying each others company at the previous classes! Act quickly as these sell out fast! Cost for this wonderful event will be $35.00 per person or $25.00 per person with your V.I.P. card. All store items used in the cooking classes will be greatly reduced in price for this evening ONLY!!!

Our 3rd "Famous" Beer Dinner at Roundhead's Pizza Pub

June T.B.A. from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This is going to be another great time and we encourage you to bring any/all questions you've ever had about beer and Berghoff and ask the pro!! Roundhead's Pizza Pub is located at 275 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Lombard. (as of press time we didn't have the date set) We will have 5 of Berghoff's brews paired up with some of the delectable dishes courtesy of our friends Nick Nagy & Rob Dylla of Roundhead's. Joe Ricchetti, Midewest Regional Manager of Berghoff Beer, will delight you with his vast knowledge of Berghoff's history and the brews we sample this evening. The last dinner we did was "Famously" Fantastic and the staff at Roundheads was simply marvelous! Cost for this "Famous" event will be $40.00 or $30.00 with your Famous V.I.P. card.
